Your Packaging is What Makes People Stop at Your Booth when Exhibiting at Trade Shows

Posted by

The Summer Fancy Food Show 2016 had much deliciousness to offer. What I am about to share is the power of packaging, and why it matters to your exhibiting experience. A few people I spoke with at the food show this week, explained that they walked through the show aisles with one thing in mind: Stop if you see an attractive product. They further shared that: there had to be a reason to stop. Scanning booths while passing was the way to get to that point.

When you see something you like the design of, such as the label or the packaging, you stop and ask the question:  - is this a product you want to represent?

This strategy has become common at trade shows, especially if you're trying to get as much out of the show as possible during a set time. Time is limited because there are so many opportunities that you cannot afford to lose.       If you get caught up in unnecessary conversations and waste time, then you don't only get tired but you lose business and money.        Especially when the tradeshow takes hours to walk through, and then,  you realize that you are only on one of the participating floor levels. You feel the clock ticking, almost physically on your left wrist. Fortunately, this didn't happen to me. My dear boss informed me of the bottom level, so I didn't have to experience the "Ohhh,-If-I-only-knew-about-the bottom-floor-,then-I-would-have-been-down-here-earlier"  feeling.  So that was good!

I found Sauces and Love down there...They sure knew how to get people's attention with beautiful packaging!
