PPI RESERVES THE RIGHT TO OVER / UNDER SHIP ALL ORDERS BY 10% AND CONSIDER THEM COMPLETE.
PREPAID & ADD FREIGHT ESTIMATES ASSUME TRUCKING COMPANY HAS FULL AND UNRESTRICTED ACCESS TO A COMMERCIAL DOCK DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS USING A STANDARD TRUCK. IF THIS IS DETERMINED TO BE UNTRUE THE CUSTOMER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ADDITIONAL FREIGHT COSTS THAT ARISE. FREIGHT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER. ALL ITEMS ARE FOB FACTORY. Jars, Caps and Other Accessories are sold separately -
the exception to this is combo cases where jars and caps are sold and packed together. A 4% per month service charge will be added beginning the first month following the due date. A reasonable amount will be added for attorney fees and legal cost where we deem it necessary to enforce collection. Samples: Samples are general examples and may or may not be indicative of the actual jar or cap lot that you will purchase at the time that your purchase is made. Parkway reserves the right to change stock materials, resins, liners, vendors, drawings etc at any time without notice for any reason for all stock products. In addition, samples in all sizes and colors may not be available at all times. If the size/color combo that you requested is not available we will try and get you a jar or cap in the size that you are interested in in whatever color is available along with a molded part of another size in the color you requested so that you have enough information to make an informed purchasing decision. If you are concerned as to what will actually ship, please indicate that in the comments section of the check out screen so that a customer service representative will notify you if something is not available. Otherwise we reserve the right to make substitutions without notice. You will only be billed for what actually ships. We do not accept any returns on samples for any reason at any time. Orders: Will only be accepted, processed and acknowledged via our online store, fax, or email. All prices are based on our standard materials, scheduling, packaging, and PPI QC Procedures. Special colors, materials, scheduling, packaging, inspection, QC Requirements are available by quotation and typically run 30% to 60% higher. Shipping: All items are shipped FOB Factory. Some of the items we sell are shipped from locations other than our 08854 warehouse. The other locations we ship from are 12901, 07017, 16413, and 63132. Customers are responsible for 100% of the freight costs associated with their orders. Website Payment: We accept American Express, Visa, Discover, Mastercard and Paypal payments through our authorize.net, a secure web processor.
Other methods of Pre-Payment: We also accept Cash, Money Order, Bank Check, and Wire Transfer for immediate order pre-payment.
Personal and Company checks are also accepted but will take up to 14 business days to clear the processing of bank, unless proof of payment clearing your account (in the form of a copy of the front and back of the check is received by the office). If you are paying by Personal or Company check your order will not be processed until 14 business days after we receive your check in house.
Terms: Parkway Club Card: Net 30 to approved accounts and must be in US Funds. To apply for Net 30 day terms please download a credit application at: https://parkwayjars.com/credit-applications/ . We ask that your initial order be prepaid as credit applications can take up to 2 weeks to process depending on how quickly your vendors respond. Credit is not guaranteed. Paypal Billing: Paypal's billing is immediate and subject to Paypal's billing terms. Pallets: Parkway's products do not include pallets. Parkway recommends that styrene jars, colored/black caps, custom orders, and printed items be shipped on pallets. Pallets with Shrink Wrap Are Available For Purchase At The Current Market Price. Parcel carriers such as UPS & FedEx do not accept pallets. Shipping Specifications: Current shipping specifications such as freight classifications, carton density, cubic ft, weight, piece count, and other packaging and/or shipment information are available on our website. While we try to insure the accuracy of all information, some figures are estimates. We take no responsibility for typos or typo graphical errors. To ensure freight info is correct, please specify customer pickup & our shipping department will contact you before your order ships. Freight Handling Charges: All UPS PP/A, FedEx PP/A, and all prepaid truck freight IN ADDITION TO any collect or third party shipments that are redirected to Parkway for payment will be increased to cover handling fees. Damage in Transit: All items are FOB Factory. Once an item leaves Parkway's shipping dock it is no longer the responsibility of Parkway Plastics Inc. If damage occurs in transit it is the customer's responsibility to file a freight claim with the delivery company. This claim must be filed within 7 days, unless other arrangements have been made. Damage: All claims must be made to Parkway Plastics Inc within 5 days after receipt of goods. Returns requested on items that have been outside Parkway's care for more than 30 days will not be accepted for any reason. In addition, returns on custom items will not be accepted for any reason other than quality defects. Returns: Prior Authorization is required for all returns. Once a return request is approved you will be issued an RGA Number and will be notified of the costs, if any, associated with your return. Items without a valid RGA number will be refused. Do not return anything without a valid RGA# as Not all items are returnable. Stock Products: Parkway reserves the right to change stock materials, resins, liners, vendors, drawings etc at any time without notice for any reason for all stock products. As a result, jar and cap samples that you have received in the past may or may not be indicative of the actual jar or cap lot that you purchase. If you have specific order requirements, please make customer service aware of them before your order ships and make sure that they are clearly indicated on your signed order acknowledgment. Missing requirements that are not brought to our attention during the order acknowledgement process are not Parkway's responsibility. In addition, please note that Parkway only holds a certain amount of inventory in stock for each item. Return requests will be reviewed on a case by case basis based on our ability to put an item back into inventory. While we of course will do our best to accommodate all return requests at the time that they are made, it is important to note that we may not be able to accept all returns at all times. Jar Volumes are for Polystyrene. Due to shrinkage, Polypropylene volumes are approximately 5% less. Jar Thread Finish: Our standard thread finish is CT-400 (Continuous Thread - 400) made to G.C.M.I (Glass Container Manufacturers Institute) specifications for all jars except 3oz 58mm Thick Wall and Regular Wall Jars. These jars are made to SPI (Glass Packaging Institute) specifications. Cap Thread Finish: Parkway Plastics' cap thread finishes are manufactured to SPI specifications. Cap Information: Ribbed caps have both smooth and matte tops. Please make sure to specify which finish you are interested in when placing your order. Our standard finish when one is not specified is matte. Custom Colored Jars and Caps: Minimums may be different than what it says on the website. If an order minimum has not been met you will be contacted after your order is placed. In addition, if you are looking for less than the minimum please contact customer service to see if we can accommodate you. Lead-times are based on our manufacturing schedule and may vary substantially from one order to the next. Please allow for a 2-8 week window from date that the order is placed. In addition, depending on the size of the jar/cap ordered and the frequency in which this jar/cap is run a mold setup fee may apply. Custom Materials: The pricing shown on the website is for stock material, such as Polypropylene and and Styrene. Custom materials such as Corn-Based Biopolypropylene, HDPE, PCR and SAN are also available upon request. The actual prices of these items would be based on our production schedule and the price of these materials at the time the order is placed. Contact our customer service team for minimums, lead-times and correct pricing. Setup fees and minimums will apply. Custom Services: All stock Parkway jars are manufactured to meet average industry standards. These standards will not be suitable for all customer applications. Also minor variations in perceived quality occur between jars of different sizes due to the fact that all of our molds are not of the same age, style or condition. For this reason, we request that the customer test enough samples of our jars so as to decide whether or not our jars are suitable for the customer's intended application. If you find that our standard jar is not suitable for your application, we will be happy to review your needs and quote any special services that may be needed to meet your QC requirements. Custom Services tend to run 30% to 60% higher. Fabrication to Customer's Specifications: To the extent Product is fabricated to Customer’s specifications, Customer warrants and represents that: (i) Product will be fit for the purpose for which it is intended; (ii) Product will conform to all standards prescribed by law, including, without limitation, all requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, as amended; and (iii) manufacture and sale of such Product by Seller will not be unlawful or result in any infringement or alleged infringement of any third party intellectual property rights. Distributed Items: All goods not manufactured by Seller are warranted only to the extent of the warranties of the original manufacturer. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Seller shall have no obligation hereunder if Product becomes defective in whole or in part as a result of the improper storage, improper use or misapplication of the Product after delivery to Customer. Limitation of Liability: Customer hereby waives any responsibility or liability of Seller and the respective directors, officers, employees and agents arising from tort. In the event that Seller is, for any reason, deemed liable to the Customer, the amount of damages recoverable by Customer shall not exceed Customer’s actual damages as limited by this Contract and Seller shall not be required to pay to Customer actual damages in excess of the total amount actually paid by Customer under this Contract. Decorating Minimum Runs: Decoration is available upon quotation. Flame Treating: All Items Printed by PPI are flame treated where necessary. Items not printed by PPI may be flame treated upon request. Flame Treating is a temporary process. Jars should be labeled or printed on as soon as possible. Minimum order quantity is 50,000pcs. Printing Prices: Printing prices are based on average PPI requirements and approval of final artwork and printing specifications. Minimum printing gap of 1/2" required based on artwork fitting on jar. For custom items or special inks add 10% to the standard printing prices. We reserve the right to over/under ship by 10% Orders for exact quantities add 5% to the total price of the order. Artwork Charges: Parkway expects to work from camera-ready artwork. Art Adjustment charges are quoted and billed separately but are approximately $150 per pass. Camera ready artwork can be submitted to our artwork department at sales@parkwayjars.com in .gif, .jpg, and .pdf formats. Offset Printing: Plate charges are $150.00 per plate. Some jobs may require more than one plate per color. Plate charges do not include artwork or prep charges, which are quoted and billed separately. Imprint or color changes are $75.00 per change. Silkscreen Printing: Silkscreen charges are $150.00 per print job. Most jobs require one screen per pass (or per color). Screen charges do not include artwork adjustment charges or preparation charges, which are quoted and billed separately. PPI CERTIFIES THAT THESE GOODS WERE PRODUCED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE FAIR LABOR STANDARDS ACT AS AMENDED AND WITH THE EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES ACT. WARRANTY INFORMATION Stringent product requirements normally require premium priced materials, and or premium priced manufacturing services, for satisfactory product and package performance. For this reason, we make no warranties, expressed or implied, as to the MERCHANTABILITY and/or the performance of our products with any specific product, or its suitability for any specific use. We will however, be happy to supply the customer and/or end user, with any and all samples, at nominal charges, that may be required by the customer and or end user may judge the degree of product compatibility, suitability of use, and overall package / application performance. |
