    This is a good matching lid for my use of the 40 oz clarified polypropylene jars. I have already given the jar a good review, but I needed a good matching lid to go with it. My use for these containers is growing mushroom spawn, plant micro-propagation and germinating orchid seeds. Polypropylene is sturdy, autoclavable and reasonably clear, and the 40 oz jars and lids make up the largest inexpensive container suitable for my needs.
