Recycled

PP PCR, or polypropylene post consumer resin, is recycled PP (#5) that has been decontaminated and reground to be used again for plastic packaging. FDA approval may hopefully come at some point in the future, but for now this material has a letter of FDA non objection attached. By using PP PCR, we can reduce plastics in landfills. PCR helps consumers all over the world use less energy, reduce plastics in landfills, and reduce our dependency on international oil supplies. It's a win-win-win!

Can be molded upon request amongst most of our product line and in many of our custom colors. Please be aware that minimums and setup fees may apply, lead times vary, and that testing is essential. Also please be aware that due to the color inconsistency inherit to "natural" PP PCR the color of the final jars may vary. Parts may have black or colored specs, swirls of color, inconsistent surface finishes and the like. This is the inherent to the material and is not a defect, in fact, this is the beauty of PCR. This inconsistency cannot be avoided.
