Two of our most popular jars for sampling and promotions are our 1/2 oz 53 jars and our 1/2 oz 43 mm Jars.

First, lets look at our 1/2 oz 53 mm Low Profile "Hockey Puck" Style Jars

If you have ever been to a trade show where Parkway Plastics has been, you undoubtedly have been either approached by one of our lovely sales reps and been given one of our cute little hockey puck size 1/2 oz jars "jelly bean jars" as a take away or seen them floating around the common areas. We also include these cute little jars with all of our samples.

Why, you may ask is our half ounce clear styrene jar our signature promotional item?

Our 1/2 oz jelly bean jars are our signature promotional giveaway item for good reason, they work! I can't tell you the number of calls that we get after a trade show saying that we say something like..

"I am calling about the jelly bean jars that I received at the trade show." or "I have this jar in my hand, I think there was candy in it or something. Do you make these?" Thanks to our great labels.

Our jelly bean jars are a huge it! Not only are they are fun to look at and to hold but they a very well received during a trade show where the exhibitors are often on their feet for hours on end and have little to no time for snacks or breaks.

At trade shows, Sales are the name of the game and so as long as there is foot traffic coming into your booth, there is no time for rest. Parkway's jelly bean jars are small enough to fit in the palm of your customers hand comfortably, almost with out being seen and so it is for that reason that we find that people are so entranced by them. We will often go back to a booth that we have stopped at previously just to check in only to find our customer, the exhibitor or presenter clutching the little plastic Parkway jars almost as a life line. It is for that reason that these little Parkway jars make such great promotional items. People are just drawn to them - full or empty. As an added bonus Parkway Plastics also sells labels making them a no brainer.

Conversion Tip: To convert fluid ounces (oz) to milliliters (ml) multiply the oz size by "29.5735." So, for example, 1oz = 29.5735 ml's or 1/2 ounce or 0.5 oz = 14.7868 milliliters. To convert ounces (oz) to grams (g) multiply by "28.3495." So, for example, 1 oz = 28.3495 g and 1/2 ounce or 0.5 oz = 14.1748 g. Our 1/2 oz 53mm Jar is also 0.75 inches (in) high and 1.9" wide. 1/2 oz 43 mm Regular Wall or Thick Wall Clear Plastic Jars

Our other extremely popular sample size jar is our 1/2oz 43mm jar. Similar to a lip balm jar, this jar is great in Thick Wall and in Regular Wall. many of our customers use this jar in clear styrene, clarified polypro or in white polypro. This too would work great as a sampling size for trade shows, introductory kits, travel size kits and the like. We too can help you with the top labels for these great little sample sized jars.
